Coventry City Chairman Joe Elliott and his board were late for the 3-0 home defeat by Watford last night.
They were busy speaking to a consortium, rumoured to be the Strategic Leisure Group who have very strong links with the Cassidy Group, about a possible take-over of Coventry City.

According to their website: "Strategic Leisure Limited is a management consultancy company specialising in the planning, development, management and evaluation of sport and leisure facilities, services and events."

The Sky Blues cash problems, were further cemented with a transfer embargo being placed on the club after failing to pay the instalments on Leon Best to Southampton.

The Sky Blue Trust in association with the Coventry Times are trying to raise funds to help the club which is being persued for a £3m income tax bill whilst the Bank is playing ball with news that three other consortia have been spoken to.
