Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has rubbished the speculation in yesterday's Mirror that Guillaume Beuzelin is to loaned out and allowed to leave.

In fact, he is to offered a contract extension with the City manager saying to the CT: "We will sit down with Boozy in the summer. "He has got a clause in his contract which we wish to exercise to keep him for another year.

"He joined us in the summer on a free transfer from Hibs and signed a one-year deal with an option of another year.

"He has brought something different to what we had and has played more games than we expected.

"He has got fitter and fitter as the season has gone on. Sometimes he has struggled with the pace of the Championship, but I have been happy with him overall and there is no truth in the story linking him with a loan move or transfer in the summer.

"His passing and awareness are excellent and that's what we brought him in for. "He has struggled at times with the fitness and physical side of it, playing three games a week, but when we pass through him, technically, he is a very good player.

"I am hoping that with a year under his belt, and if he has a good pre-season, he will kick on again and will have something to offer us for next season."
