The supporters award for City players aged under 21 on the opening day of the season was first run in 1999 and the Republic Of Ireland U21 international will join such players as Gary McSheffrey,John Eustace, Chris Kirkland, Jay Bothroyd, Craig Pead, Craig Reid and Isaac Osbourne twice in receiving the Christy Heffernan Memorial Trophy.
Besty (pictured above) will be presented with the trophy by a member of the Heffernan family after the home game with Wolves on April 26th.
