One of Coventry City's former players Craig Bellamy, who left the club after their relegation from The Premiership amid recriminations, is likely to miss Cardiff's game at The Ricoh Arena on October 19th because of injury.

Bellamy is recovering from a knee problem which has dogged his career. He will also miss out in Wales Euro 2012 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Switzerland.

Bellamy is currently on loan at Cardiff, managed by another former Sky Blue Dave Jones, from Manchester City and will probably be out of action for three weeks

Wales caretaker manager Bryan Flynn confirmed Bellamy would miss the Euro 2012 qualifying games saying, "I had a conversation with Cardiff manager Dave Jones and we made the decision that Craig will not be available due to his fitness."

If Bellamy has recovered in time and does play for Cardiff at The Ricoh in October, he is sure to get a hostile reception from the City supporters.
