According to various Barnsley fans on Twitter, the South Yorkshire club are signing Coventry City midfielder Carl Baker today.
These Barnsley fans claim that Baker was at the Barnsley versus Hull City friendly on Saturday and was sat with their Chief Executive and the midfielder will sign today (Monday)

On the other hand, there are those who have said that Baker was scouting for Steven Pressley as the Sky Blues play Barnsley on August 19th, a role Baker undertook for Pressley last season when he watched Preston play MK Dons last season.
