West Bromwich Albion top the Championship table tonight after a 1-1 draw at Leicester lifted them above Derby County who lost 2-1 at now fourth placed Sunderland. Birmingham lost 2-0 at Hull City.

Elsewhere in the division, Palace beat Luton, Sheff Wednesday beat Southend, Wolves beat bottom club Leeds and Southampton beat Ipswich. Lilian Nallis scored for Plymouth in the 1-1 draw at QPR and was also sent off. The Sky Blues remain in 15th place.

In League One, Ben Turner's debut was a nightmare. The centre half who joined Oldham Athletic on a month's loan was sent off on his debut v Bournemouth for abusive language after reacting to a late challenge by Marc Wilson. Oldham lost 2-1.
Gavin Strachan scored for Peterborough in a 3-0 win at Bury.

Locally, the rain played havoc with the fixtures. Only a handful of our teams played with Rugby Town losing 3-1 at Cirencester. Nuneaton Griff won 4-1 at Alveston whilst Southam beat Continental Star 2-1 and in Midland Combination Division One, Stockingford drew 0-0 at Knowle.
