Mr Elliott was given the award at the Godiva Awards Ceremony and was honoured for his role in promoting the City of Coventry.
As well as his role at Coventry City FC, Mr Elliott is a Trustee of the Alan Higgs Centre at Allard Way and a leading light in the Transport Museum.
