Around 100 People Hear Joe Say No

Around one hundred people attended an No to Coventry having an elected mayor rally on Thursday night at the Methodist Hall in central Coventry.

On the panel was former Coventry City Chairman Joe Elliott who nipped across Town from the Herbert Art Gallery, Cllr John Mutton, Cllr George Duggins and Coventry Telegraph political editor Les Reid.

A number of City councillor plus those supporting the yes campaign including John Gaunt, who is rumoured to be fancying himself as an Elected Mayor for four years on a salary ranging from £140k to £200k per year, also attended.
