Winger Liam Davis has signed a one year deal with Coventry City. The Londoner had been loaned out to Peterborough United during the season just gone but impressed Iain Dowie enough in a reserve game against the London Road club to earn first team appearances against Sheffield Wednesday and West Brom and a one year deal which he signed today.

Speaking to Sky Blue World,Dwiss said: "I'm delighted to sign. "The new manager has come in and shown a lot of confidence in my ability and hopefully I can repay him next season.

"I know I'm going to have to work really hard to ensure that. I was playing week-in-week-out at Peterborough in front of decent crowds and also played in the Carling Cup against Everton - you can't beat that - and it's definitely given me more hunger to do well here."
