Another Signing For Coventry City

Coventry City have signed Junior Brown from Shrewsbury Town.

Brown, will officially become a City player on July 1st after his current contract has expired and has agreed personal terms and a two year deal with the club.

The 29 year old midfielder was born in Crewe and made one appearance for his home town club, before going to Halffax, Northwich and Fleetwood Town for whom he made 106 appearances. 

Since 2014, he has been on loan at Tranmere, joined Oxford United and made 11 appearances before joined Mansfield Town initially on loan.

In 2015, he joined Shrewsbury Town and made 89 appearances scoring six times.

Mark Robins told the club website about him: “I am very pleased to bring Junior to the club and that he has chosen to accept our offer, having also had other options on the table too.

“He is a player with much experience at this level and is strong both defensively and in attack too. We look forward to him joining us in July and adding further quality to our squad.”
