Another Four Interested

New Acting Coventry City Chairman Joe Elliott has received four calls in the last twenty fours from bidders interested in buying the Sky Blues.

Mr Elliott said to Covsupport that this interest gave a positive message that Coventry still has a major football team to be proud of and that the Co-Op Bank were listening to the club.

Whilst he could not give any guarantees as to the future of the club, he was hopeful that something could be sorted out and urged everyone to support the club in its fund-raising efforts and on the pitch.

In the short term, City do need cash and donation boxes are being put in both of the club shops for those wishing to contribute to a fund which will be administrated by the Sky Blue Trust. Details of how to contribute on-line will be available in the next couple of days.
