Coventry City’s Cody McDonald has been talking about his 85th minute goal, which helped the Sky Blues to a 2-0 win at Hull City.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, McDonald said "It wasn't just my goal which got us the three points today as it was a massive performance by everyone and we got what we deserved.
"We were solid at the back and (Joe) Murphy has had a great game. It was a great day and something every player in the team can be proud of taking part in.
"We thoroughly deserved the three points and it is always nice to score. I definitely caught that one really well. I hit it well and it was great to see it hit the back of the net.
“To score in front of your away supporters as well today who have put in a great effort getting here, it was great on a personal note. The fans celebrated with the players really and everyone in the side celebrated it as well so it shows we are in this together."
