Adrian Heath has wished new manager Iain Dowie all the best after his three year spell at Coventry City ended yesterday.

Said Inchy to the CT: "I just think the club need to decide which way to go and stick to it and I think it will benefit everyone.

"It is a really good football club with some really good people in it and I hope they move on and get where they want to be. I am sure that if the right man is given the right time then they will get to the Premiership.

"I am the sixth manager in recent years so there's probably an answer for he people upstairs if they think they have got the right man let them get on with it.

"Managers go through bad times and the club have to stick with him and I am saw that if they do that with Iain Dowie that it will be good to take the club forward."

As for his immediate future,Heath added: "This little go has given me more of a bug for it. I think it is a nightmare of a job. I haven't had a voice for six weeks and have probably been a nightmare to live with at home, but I have enjoyed it and this is what I do.

"Whether it is coaching or assisting,I don't know but I will bounce back.

"I would like to have a little go on my own. I think I am big headed and blase enough to think I can do the job if I was given the right club at the right time."
