Barnsley are to take former Coventry City winger Julian Gray on a month's trial.

The former Birmingham City man left the Sky Blues in mysterious circumstances and was loaned to Fulham who made the move permanent.

He failed to make an impact at Craven Cottage and and is currently without a club.

Barnsley Director Don Rowing confirmed to Sheffield Star: "He's (Julian Gray] coming in on a one-month loan contract, that will give Mark time to decide on whether he wants to keep him for longer."
