Marc Antoine Fortune has said that it was a good day for himself and the team after he converted a penalty and set up two goals for Coventry City in a 3-0 victory over Shrewsbury Town.

Fortune told Clive Eakin of BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "My first game starting so I am really pleased. It was a good day for me and the team.

"My target is to start every game and I can I will.

"I am here to help Adam Armstrong keep scoring goals and we can compete together.

"We needed the clean sheet. Up front, we can be the difference but the defence needed the clean sheet.

"I wanted to take the penalty. I know we have missed some, so maybe I'm the one for the penalties now. I'll have to ask the manager."
