Coventry City manager Steven Pressley described the Sky Blues 1-0 home win over Doncaster Rovers as a "fantastic performance".
Speaking to club journalist Kieran Crowley, the City boss said: "It was a fantastic performance and I thought the first 45 minutes of football was the best I've seen from the side.
"I think the players deserve special praise today because they were able to put the points deduction behind them and produce a fantastic home display.
"Many of the players have played over 39 games this season so to get the deduction was a hammer-blow but their reaction was first-rate.
"They are a real credit to this football club and deserve a lot of praise today."
