Sky Blues On The Road - Brighton & Hove Albion

It’s a return to his former club for Micky Adams as Coventry City make the trip to “Sussex By The Sea” to play Brighton and Hove Albion in a Championship game.

The City manager’s main problems are in defence. Robert Page has what has been reported as an illness whilst both Richard Shaw and Matt Heath were injured during Wednesday’s 1-1 draw at Derby County. Both Marcus Hall and Andy Whing have both played in the centre of defence and could fill the gaps with left back Paul Watson who has been signed on a non-contract basis possibly playing against the club he spent six years with.

Otherwise the majority of the side that played in the-1 draw with Derby should all feature.

Brighton are expected to be unchanged from the side that was beaten at home by league leaders Sheffield United on Tuesday night.

Referee is Mr G.Hegley from Hertfordshire. This will be the 53rd meeting between the two sides with City who are still to win away from home this season, having won on 13 occasions compared to Brighton’s 21 with 18 draws.

A handful of tickets are believed to be still available for City supporters priced at £22.50 for adults.
