WHO ARE THEY?
Formed in 1879 from an amalgamation between St Luke's School and Blakenhall Wanderers cricket team to become Wolverhampton Wanderers (1923) Ltd, New limited companies were formed in 1982 and 1986 after the club was close to folding.

Wolverhampton Wanderers had been Champions of the five Football League Divisions they have played in. Three times they have won the old FL Div 1, the last being in 1958-59. They have won Division 2 twice,Division Three North,Division 3 (in 1988/89) and Division 4 in 1987/88.

They have also won the FA Cup on four occasions, the last was in 1960. Twice League Cup winners,Wolves have also won the Texaco Cup,Sherpa Van Trophy and were UEFA Cup runners-up in 1971/72.

Wolves moved to their Molineux home in 1889 after playing at Dudley Road,John Harper's Field and Windmill Field.

This is Wolves third season in the Championship and their current manager is Mick McCarthy who replaced Glenn Hoddle in the summer.

LAST MATCH
Coventry drew 0-0 at Colchester United whlst Wolves beat West Brom 1-0 at Molineux.

This is the 59th league and cup game between the two sides. The Sky Blues have won on twenty six occasions with thirteen draws.

Back in October, the Sky Blues lost 1-0 at Wolves. The only goal was an Elliott Ward own goal in the 17th minute. In the corresponding fixture last season, City won 2-0 with first half goals from James Scowcroft and an Joel Lescott own goal.

Coventry are 14th in the table with Wolves 4th.

TEAM NEWS
Don Hutchison and Kevin Thornton are all out. Andy Whing is available for selection but Kevin Kyle is unavailable due to a court case and a hip injury.

David McNamee could come back into contention after over coming an hamstring injury.

Leon McKenzie is a concern after picking up a thigh injury during the draw at Colchester. Said Iain Dowie:"Leon took a nasty knock on his thigh but he's had a day to rest so we'll see how that progresses today."

For Wolves, former Sky Blue Gary Breen is a doubt after picking up a dead leg against WBA. Jay Bothroyd should play.

Tim Flowers said "I'm looking forward to the Wolves game. They gave me my chance and it should be a great atmosphere at the Ricoh. "We had an increase in the crowd against Hull and Wolves going as well as they are should bring a stack of supporters. It will be another tough match but there is resolve in the team."

HOW TO GET THERE
By car: Leave the M6 at junction 3. Take the A444 towards the City centre and at the first island go left and you will see the Ricoh Arena on your right.
By rail: For all train information call National Rail Enquiries on: 08457 48 49 50, but be warned Coventry station is a £10+ taxi ride away. Take the 27 bus from the train station get off at Pool Meadow bus station and catch the 4 or 5 service. Or go out of doors and over the road by Sainsburys and get the 20, getting off the by Tescos.

Parking: Car parking is extremely restricted around the ground. Supporters are advised that there is only park and ride site to the south of the city at the Jaguar car plant.

AWAY SUPPORTERS PARKING
Car parking around the Ricoh Arena is strictly limited.
However, there is a designated away supporters car park, situated around five minutes walk away from the ground. The car park is secure and cost is £5 - but spaces are limited to just 100.

Directions: M6 to junction 3. Take 3rd exit if coming from north or 1st exit if travelling from the south. At the 2nd roundabout, take the 2nd exit, under the railway bridge, through the first set of traffic lights, and pass the pedestrian lights. At the next set of lights, turn right into Blackburn Road and the car park is at the top of the road.

Some car satellite navigation systems have not been updated to show Coventry City FC as playing at the Ricoh Arena. Those visiting the ground for the first time are advised to enter "Phoenix Way" and the post code "CV6 6GE" instead.
