Zoidl Wins Tour Of Croatia Stage Four

Riccardo Zoidl of Trek Segefredo has won the fourth stage of the Tour Of Croatia.

With Giacomo Nizzolo in the leader's red and white jersey for this stage from Crikvenica to Ucka, eight riders in Ovechkin, Scott Davies of Team Wiggins, Tonelli, Turek, Dhaene, Sondre Holst, Megias and Novak were in the day's break.

Their lead was down to 1.37 with 27kms left and on the final climb, they were caught and a reduced peloton of 24 riders pressed forwards with Jay McCarthy of Tinkoff taking a big turn on the front.

Sondre Holst Enger of IAM Cycling, who was in the break, opened up a gap to the fifteen riders left in what was the peloton with nine kilometres left.

De La Parte, Riccardo Zoidl of Trek Segefredo and Matija Kvasina of Synergy Baku were head with three kilometres left. A kilometres later and Zoidl dropped De La Parte and Versina who was now being chased by Adam Hansen.

Riccardo Zoidl of Trek Segefredo was away and got past the blown over advertising hoardings to take the win in 3.17.04.

Versina was second with Victor De La Parte third and Adam Hansen fourth.

Matija Kvasina of Synergy Baku now leads the race by 19 seconds from Zoidl ahead of the team time trial.
