Loic Chetout, Clement Chevrier, Baptiste Planckaert. Alexander Foliforov, Yann Guyot, Quentin Jauregui, Dimitri Peyskens, Laurent Pichon and Thomas Sprengers.  then took over in front and went two minutes clear.

Quentin Jauregui took the second intermediate sprint.as the gap steadied at two minutes with seventy kilometres gone.

With 52kms left, Chetout, Guyot and Planckaert attacked and were joined by Foliforo, Chevrier and Picton before Chetout crashed leaving five out front.

That break was caught and one including Sean De Bie of Lotto Soudal formed only to be caught with 21kms to go.

All the attacks failed and it was a sprint which was won by Matteo Trentin in 4.18.08 ahead of Gediminas Bagdonas. Race leader Gianni Meersman was third and extends his lead in the race.
