Nicola Ruffoni of Bardiani CSF took the win on Stage One of the Tour Of Austria.
A break was formed with around 70km into the stage and includeD Vanotti (Astana), Koning (Drapac), Kuen (Amplatz BMC).
They got a maximum of 3.45 clear but with ten kilometres left only Peter Koning was still out front.
Into Saltzburg at the end of a stage which had started in Innsbruck and Koning was caught and Nicola Ruffoni took the win in bunch sprint in 4.00.51 ahead of Andrea Pasqualion of Team Roth and Yannick Martinez of Delko Marseille.
