Orica GreenEdge's Michael Matthews has won the 56th Vuelta Ciclista a La Rioja in Spain.
The race was 157.4kms long and started and finished in Logroño.
It was a race that had Molina (CJR), Torres (BUR), Verschoor (TNN), Grijalba (INT) and Dion Smith (ONE) in the break.
They had a lead of three minutes but were brought back with ten kilometres left and the sprint ensued with Michael Matthews taking the win ahead of Sergey Shilov.
One Pro's British rider Yanto Barker was eighth
