The weather finally relented, and for the fourth time of trying, we managed to get our main Final played. We must thank Kenilworth Wardens for offering to stage the game at only 5 days notice, and also to MKB Catering for their agreement to the changes in order for the Competition to be completed.

This hastily arranged Final, unique as it was the first time a Final had been played under floodlights, MKB Catering won the toss and batted first, and they scored a highly respectable 149-6 wkts with Uldeer scoring 53 and Imran 35, Alistair Wilkinson replying with 3-27 off 4 overs. This scoreline was affected by some outstanding fielding by Kenilworth Wardens and catches taken by  Sitanshu Kotak, Andy Whitehall and Dan Wood were simply brilliant.

Kenilworth Wardens in reply never looked in any trouble, as hard as MKB Catering bowlers tried, Sitanshu Kotak 68no and Keith Bell 60no were always in control seeing them to a 10 wkt victory scoring 153-0 wkt with 1.3 overs remaining.
