Elia Viviani won the fourth stage of the Tour Of Beijing this morning.

This was the longest stage of the race at 189.5km from Yan Qing Gui Chuan Square to Shunyi Olympic Rowing/Canoeing Centre and saw a six man break swallowed up by the peloton including race leader Tony Martin after getting five minutes clear.

It was dealt with by the time the riders got back into Beijing with five kilometres left.

Steve Cummings, who is joining BMC for next season, took his Team Sky team mate Chris Froome to go with two to go. Saxo Bank took over at the front but Sky were back in front with a kilometre to go with Alex Dowsett in the lead.

It was a bunch sprint and it was Liquigas rider Elia Viviani who took the victory.

Peter Sagan was second with JJ Haedo third.

Tony Martin keeps his leader's jersey for the final stage.
