Roux Wins Circuit Sarthe Stage 2A

Anthony Roux of FDJ has won Stage 2A of the 63rd Circuit Sarthe race in France.

Stage 2A was from Varades to Angers and was 83.9kms long. It was a stage which Roux, Quentin Jargui and Thomas Voeckler of Europcar get away and stay away until the end.

Roux took the win ahead of Quentin Jauregui of AG2R and Thomas Voeckler.

Nacer Bouhanni of Cofidis won the bunch sprint for fourth place, followed by Alexey Tsatevich of Katusha, Michael Kolar of Tinkoff-Saxo, Lorenzo Manzin of FDJ, Marco Benfatto of Androni, Raymond Kreder of Roompot and Geoffrey Soupe of Cofidis.

Stage 2B is a 6.8km individual time trial in Angers.
