The Premier Inn Best British Rider Trophy will be presented during September's Aviva Tour of Britain, which gets underway in North Wales on Sunday 6 September.
 
The UK's most loved hotel chain, Premier Inn, is gearing-up for the Aviva Tour of Britain cycling race by celebrating  the launch of the 'Premier Inn Best British Rider Trophy' that will be presented to the leading British rider at the end of each stage of the men's tour with the overall winner being presented on Sunday 13 September.
 
British Cycling's premier road cycling event boasts some fantastic British talent which in 2013 was won by Sir Bradley Wiggins, who this year faces stiff competition from a talented field, with the likes of Etixx Quick-Step's  Mark Cavendish and JLT Condor's Kristian House, who along with team mates are helping to launch this year's Best British Rider trophy, to celebrate the pinnacle of British cycling talent.
