Mollema Wins Tour Of Norway Stage Four

Bauke Mollema of Belkin has won the fourth stage of the Tour Of Norway.

A 195km stage from Brumunddal to Lillehammer which featured a lumpy course saw Marc Demaar of United Healthcare in the lead of the race.

Serov, Remme, Hagen and Groendahl were ahead as soon as the flag droppd and quickly took a lead of 2.30, extending that to 7.20 after forty kilometres.

Van Hecke tried to attack from the peloton who were 8.10 ahead but he was caught.

After Servoc was dropped, Remme, Hagen and Groendahl went into the final fifty five kilometres with a lead of 1.02.

Behind them, there was plenty of attacks before CCC Polsat brought it all back together with 24kms left.

Fernandez, Eiking, Mollema, Hansen who had been amongst the attackers, formed a new break a kilometre later.

They had a lead of twenty six seconds with twelve kilometres to go and were still clear going into the final kilometre.

Elking led the sprint out, Fernandez went with him but Bauke Mollema came past and took the victory ahead of Jesper Hansen of Tinkoff Saxo.

Marc De Maar, who finished in eighth place leads the race going into the final 167km stage from Gjøvik to Hønefoss(Eggemoen).
