Astana's Maxim Iglinsky won the fourth stage of the Tour Of Belgium.

Seven riders in  Voeckler, Leukemans, Rast, Delfosse, Barle and M. Iglinsky got away on the 164.3km stage which started and finished at Lacs de l'Eau d'Heure.

Sebastien Delfosse took the first checkpoint for the black jersey worn by Stejyn Steels as the seven were still 2.18 clear with 61kms to go.

The second sprint came with 54kms to go and again Delfosse took the maximum points, whilst race leader Tony Martin had his Omega Pharma Quick Step team on the front.

The opening climb of the day came with 45kms to go and Leukemans was first over the summit before they went past the finish line with two twenty kilometre laps to go and a lead of 2.01.

Delfosse added more points when he was allowed to take the full quota of 13 points by the other six riders at the third checkpoint.

With 25kms to go and Delfosse having taken more points on the second climb,, Swiss Champion Martin Kohler launched the first attack to bring back the escapers, who were 1.37 ahead but was quickly caught.

Thomas Voeckler took the super sprint, beating Delfosse with ten to go and then the Petit Poggio points as the gap came down to 28 seconds with five kilometres left.

Thomas Slagter went off the front of the peloton as the seven man group at the front were starting to splinter. Voeckler tried to attack with three kilometres again but his effort came to nothing.

Maxim Iglinsky went just under the flam rouge as the pelton came in sight. The peloton swept up the remaining six escapers but Iglinsky held on to win 3.41.38 ahead of Andre Greipel and Philippe Gilbert, Danny Van Poppel and Francesco Gavazzi.

Tony Martin stays as the race leader going into the final stage tomorrow which is 175.6kms long and starts and finishes in Banneux.
