Glasgow To Stage British Road Race Championships

Glasgow will stage the 2013 British Road Race Championships.

The race which was won by Team Sky's Ian Stannard last year and Sir Bradley Wiggins the year before, will be held on the streets of Glasgow on Sunday 23rd June starting at Glasgow Green.

British cycling have announced that the course will run through the city centre, past Buchanan Street, before carrying on to the west end of the city where it will pass through Kelvingrove Park. The course will then circuit the west end before heading back towards the city centre and the finish at Glasgow Green.

The National Time Trial Championship won by Alex Dowsett now at Movistar will be held on Thursday 20th June in East Ayrshire.
