Oscar Gatto won the eighth stage of the Giro D'Italia this afternoon.
Stage eight was from Sapri to Tropea and was 217km long.and saw Selvaggi and Gordani lead for over two hundred kilometres before being finally caught.
With three kilometres to go, Team Sky's Peter Kennaught attacked but was brought back.
Oscar Gatto tried the same tactic with a kilometre left and stayed ahead of Alberto Contador to take the stage.
