British cyclist Andew Fenn finished second on the eighth stage of the Tour Of Langkwai.

On another day of showers, it was not until we had reached the fifty kilometres gone mark in this 164.5km stage from Kuala Terengganu to Tanah Merah that any riders were able to mount a serious attack.

Wen Low Ji (OCBC) and Jianpeng Liu (Hengxiang Cycling Team) got away and at one stage had an eleven minute lead.

Low took the first intermediate sprint of the day and Liu the second and third but the peloton were closing in and with fifteen kilometres to go, it was only Liu who was in front.

He was caught inside the final ten kilometres to set up a bunch sprint which Frenchman Bryan Coquard of Team Europcar, in his first season as a professional won in a time of 3.36.47 beating Omega Pharma Quick Step's Andrew Fenn and Vini-Fantini's Francesco Chicchi.
