Colnago's Andrea Di Corrado won the fifth stage of the 48th Presidental Tour Of Turkey this afternoon.

A 178km stage from Marmaris to Turgutreis, saw six riders get away. At one stage they had a lead of fifteen minutes but with 48kms to go on another gorgeous day, that lead was down to 10.49.

The gap was coming down all the time and after a dog had been moved away from the sprint line in Bodrum, Durrett took the sprint with 20kms to go.

Saxo Bank's Jonas Jorgensen decided to try and attack with 15kms to go, but the five stayed with him.

Europcar's Jerome Cousan and Farnese Vini's Alfredo Balloni went away and built a sixteen second gap before he was caught by Andrea Di Corrado who took over at the front with ten kilometres to go.

No-one was able to catch the 23 year old italian and he won in a time of 4:30.26 ahead of Jorgensen and Cousan.

The peloton came in 1.27 down.

Ivalio Gabrovski keeps his leaders jersey.
