Demare Wins The Four Days Of Dunkirk

Arnaud Demare of FDJ  won the Four Days Of Dunkirk after finishing safely in fifth on the final stage.

Demare led going into the final 177.1 stage from Saint Pol Sur Mer to Dunkirk with a six second lead over Sylvain Chavanel.

As the race got to the stage of nine six kilometre circuits around Dunkirk and taking in the sea front. Engoulvent, Fouchard, Zingle, Mol & Bagdonas were on the front with a four minute lead

Into the final kilometre and only Europcar's Jimmy Engoulvent and Romain Zingle of Cofidis were left and Engoulvent took the win in 4.12.27, sprinting away to finish seven seconds ahead of Zingle and nine seconds ahead of Gediminas Bagdonas of AG2R and Wouter Mol of Veranclassic- Doltcini. 

Three seconds later, Arnaud Demare who had an puncture with 42kms to go, finished fifth to give the FDJ rider the victory overall.
