Nicole Is Sports Woman Of The Year

Cyclist Nicole Cooke, whose father and grand-father hail from Coventry, has been voted the Sunday Times Sports Woman Of The Year for 2008.

Cooke won gold in the Olympics for road cycling and beat track cyclist Vickie Pendleton and Horse Racing's Hayley Turner to win this award.
