The Coventry Women’s Forum, will be holding two events this week on
Thursday 8th March 2012.
‘Join us on the Bridge’ will take place between 12:00 – 13:00 on
Millennium Bridge
An hour for people to come together to show unity, peace, respect. A time to give of themselves to show support for those in CRISIS.
We will have the opportunity to join in with silence, then chanting and
song. A strong visual message of unity, peace and reconciliation. People will be encouraged to wear their traditional costume and bring their banners or flags.
Coventry the home and spirit of Godiva and her sisters, a worldwide
message spanning 1000 years. The message of true justice for all, lives on today .Coventry a city of Peace and Reconciliation, diversity and social inclusion.

The ‘Women of Achievement’ Award ceremony will take place at the
Britannia Hotel in Fairfax street, on Thursday 8th March 2012, 18:30
onwards, tickets are available from the Britannia Hotel or West Orchards Shopping Centre, management suite on level 5.
This is an evening of celebration for the achievements of Women of
Coventry, to come together share a meal, enjoy the entertainment and be recognised for their personal achievements.
