Sphinx Youth Through To Final

Coventry Sphinx's Youth Team are through to the Midland Floodlit Youth League Premier League Cup Final after a penalties victory at Boldmere St Michaels.

Wayne Whitehouse's side travelled to Church Road for the game and after no goals in ninety minutes, the game went to penalties.

Sphinx missed their first spot kick after Boldmere had scored. Both sides scored three penalties before the Sphinx keeper saved Boldmere's fifth penalty. Sphinx scored to send the tie into sudden death.

Boldmere missed their kick but Sphinx scored to take a 6-5 penalties win and book their place in the final.
