Coventry Sphinx manager Danny McSheffrey has made four signings in the week leading up to the club's FA Cup tie away at Hinckley United on Saturday.

The Sphinx boss has brought midfielders Dave Drennan and Ramon Manak back to the club along with former keeper Lee Wilson as well as signing the experienced Stephen Evans.

Drennan is a former Sphinx captain and has made over ninety appearances whilst Manak, who has played in America, made a number of appearances last season.

Wilson returns to the club after a four year absence whilst Evans is a former Aston Villa player, who has also played for Oldham Athletic, Burton Albion, Tamworth and Quorn.

Speaking to the Coventry Sphinx official club website, Danny McSheffrey said: I'm thrilled with ''EVO'' signing as he is a guy that will bring high standards, quality, experience and help other players to maximise potential and that showed in his display against Coalville where he was very good.

"Lee was a little to inexperienced when he left the Sphinx but from    reports he has come on leaps and bounds and to be fair he has been a bit of a god send as we have been rotating keepers as both cant commit to Saturdays (Holland) and Tuesdays (Daffern) I put him straight into the game against Coalville and he came through with flying colours, he maybe a bit ring rusty but with a few games under his belt he will be firing on all cylinders.

"Along with Drennan, Manak signing in the last few days we have signed     four quality players that will only make the squad stronger, there's a couple of irons still in the fire and are hope full of bringing in another signing within the next week or so."
