Coventry Sphinx manager Danny McSheffrey has welcomed new signings Tom Muldoon from Coventry Copsewood and Aaron Donaldson from Nuenaton Griff to Sphinx Drive.
Forward Mark Smith has also signed and with key midfielders Adrian Fisher and Tom Haywood returning from long term injuries McSheffrey is delighted with how his squad is shaping up for the new season saying; "We've kept the majority of last seasons squad together and added what I believe is real quality in the 3 new lads. Both Tom and Aaron are wingers that will give us good balance. They have all round good qualities and will work hard for the team and once fit Mark Smith will also be an exciting addition up front"
"With the return of Ade (Fisher) and Tom (Haywood), who both missed large parts of last season through injury, we look strong in each position and I'm satisfied we have the right personnel at the club and am thoroughly looking forward to the challenges that the new season will bring. We still have a couple of targets who may join closer to the season but I'm delighted with how we are shaping up"
Sphinx open their Midland Alliance season on Saturday 8th August with a trip to newly promoted Loughborough University before hosting Alvechurch at Sphinx Drive on Tuesday 11th August.
