Coventry Sphinx play a Conference North side for the first time in a competitive game when they travel tomorrow to play Hinckley United in an FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round tie.

Danny McSheffrey, whose Midland Alliance side stopped high flying Coalville Town in their tracks on Tuesday night, has a full squad to choose from and told the CT: "This is a big occasion for a club like ours. "We are very much the under-dogs but we do not fear Hinckley. "Yes, we shall show them the utmost respect but once the whistle blows, its eleven v eleven and I reckon we could be a real handful."

They take on a Hinckley side which has had its High Court case adjourned until November 10th as the court were satisfied that all outstanding debts could be met once the sale of part of the Greene King Stadium site had been finalised.

The winner of the match will pick up £4,500.

The game at the Greene King Stadium kicks off at 3pm and admission is £10 for adults, £7 concessions and £3 U16's.

If a replay is required, it will be at Sphinx Drive on Tuesday night.
