Coventry City U18’s boss Greg Rioch has said that he was pleased for Jonson Clarke-Harris and Billy Daniels who both got on the scoresheet in the U18’s 2-1 win at Watford on Saturday.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Rioch said: "They came at us straight away but after we went behind, we were brilliant. They worked hard for each other and made sure they got the result we deserved.

"It was important we got the result as we have lost the last two games and we were looking to respond to that. It was a great acheivement to come back and it keeps a very impressive unbeaten away record.

"Jonson (Clarke-Harris) and Billy (Daniels) have really taken the mantle this season and I couldn't be happier with their contribution this season.

“They both did well as first-year graduates but have stepped it up this season. With the players they have around them and everyone in the side giving their all, it is no surprise they have got so many goals.

"We have a little break now before we travel to Cardiff so hopefully that will work in our favour."
