Coventry City Academy Boss Greg Rioch feels that the FA Academy League Group B title is in their own hands.

The Academy boss was boosted by a 4-1 win over Ipswich Town last week including a superb fifteen pass move finished off by Arron Phillips, which the club are putting up for Academy Goal Of The Month.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Rioch said: "They have done brilliantly this season and the way we played last week against Ipswich shows how far the players have come.

"The performance was top draw and the first goal we scored in that game was sensational. We are going to put it forward for the LFE Goal of the Month Competition and it is great to see us produce football of that quality.

"They are confident and keen to keep doing their best and see out this season as best we can. The league is in our hands and it has been quite a journey this season.

"We have come through a rocky road with a few results not going our way but I think we are back to our best and just in time for a tough trip to Arsenal.

"They are determined to make an impact there and show what they can do. Arsenal are currently top of their group and have a lot of quality throughout the side.

"But going to play sides that also play good football doesn't deter our side as we want to try and play our own game.

"I couldn't be prouder of the efforts of my players this season and the attitude they have is amazing. Every single one of them wants to achieve and perform to their best every single week."
