Coventry City U18's are still without a win after losing 5-2 at home to Aston Villa.

City U'18's boss Greg Rioch was able to field a strong side with Reis Ashraf and Asley Cain leading the attack.

Again all the early promise came to nothing as Villa took the lead in the fourteenth minute through an unstoppable right footed strike from 26 yards by former City youngster James Collins.

In the 28th minute, Villa doubled their tally when Shane Lairy headed home from a corner.

Three minutes,Jermaine Grandson hit the post from a corner and the rebound fell for Reis Ashraf to lash into the net.

Collins hit a post and in the 58th minute,Sean Fraser had a header cleared off the line. Villa broke and James Collins turned inside the area to smash into the net for the visitors third.

Despite the scoreline, City played some good football with Jermaine Grandison and Liam Robinson doing well at the back. Adam Walker, Keiran Fitzharris and Sean Fraser also worked hard.

In the 71st minute,Villa added a fourth with Bradley's close range shot not being stopped by Ireland.

There was still time for Villa to have one of their coaches banished from the sidelines and City subs Ebenezer and Quirke to get outings.

Seconds from the end,Villa went nap with Hoftbander heading home.

City went up the other end and substitute Michael Quirke volleyed in for a consolation goal.
