Coventry City Reserves finished third in the Pontins League Central Division table after Port Vale drew 1-1 with West Brom this afternoon

Having drawn level on points with Frankie Bunn and Steve Ogrizovic's team after both Vale and Stoke agreed that the 0-0 score from the abandoned match last week should stand.

Lee Hildreth who has been released by City played in that match and was again selected for the game against West Brom.

Vale took the lead in 18th minute through Robin Hulbert before Stefan Morrison equalised for The Baggies two minutes before half-time.

West Brom had the better of the play in the second half but could not score again although both sides had a shot cleared off the line and condemned Coventry City to a third place finish.

With City Reserves having been withdrawn from the league, Kev Monks on behalf of Covsupport News Service, hope to provide reports on what friendly and Birmingham Senior Cup matches, the reserves play next season.
