THE BLURB
Coventry City have slashed season ticket prices in certain areas of the Ricoh Arena for the 2007/08 campaign. Supporters will be able to purchase season ticket for under £300 in two corners of the stadium while all other prices have been frozen.
Our cheapest season ticket offers an 18% reduction on 2006/07 prices and means that fans will effectively watch eleven home games FREE next season compared to if you purchased 23 individual tickets on a matchday.
Part of the Jewson Stand is being opened up to home supporters with away fans being shifted towards the Telent Stand and Junior Sky Blues under the age of seven will once again be entitled to free season tickets.
A summary of the 2007/08 season ticket benefits?
Away fans are to be moved to the right half of the Jewson South Stand. (to minimise impact around the goal and bring in our own fans).
Away fans will typically be located in Blocks 6, 7 and only move across into Blocks 8 then 9 should their numbers exceed 1,500.
Prices for Green, Yellow & Sky Blue zones are IDENTICAL to this season (06/07). An extra Purple zone (cheap seats) has been added below the scoreboard.
Prices for the Purple zone zones have been reduced by 18% over this season. (Adult NOW just £292).
There are now a total of 5,750 cheap season ticket seats UNDER £300 available (incl JSB's). 18% of stadium capacity or circa 50% of the amount typically empty on a match day this season.
Opening up the Jewson Stand and making it a Green price zone will (pending take-up) off set almost all of the Purple zone reductions.
JSB seat are cheaper than last year. Approx 5% cheaper than purple zone. 11% cheaper than last year.
Prices in ALL AREAS three hours or less from kick-off are the same ie Adults £24, Concession £12 (This is to encourage early purchasing and avoid safety ingress problems).
