By Car  142 miles from Coventry
From the west/midlands:
A46, M40, A34, M3 Continue along the M27 eastbound (ignoring the M275 turn off for Portsmouth city centre) on to the A27. At the junction with the A2030 turn right towards Southsea/Fratton. Continue along the A2030 and eventually you will see the ground in front of you.

Or as above until Leave the M27 at junction 12, then join the M275 motorwaySignposted Portsmouth West, Ferries  onto the A2047. Branch left, then at Rudmore Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A2047Signposted North End , At traffic signals turn right onto the A2047 Signposted Fratton , At roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A2047Signposted Milton, Eastney. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A2047, Turn left onto Frogmore Road for ground. 

From the M25:
Continue along the A3 southbound, which becomes the A3(M) and then joins the A27 westbound. At the junction with the A2030 turn left towards Southsea/Fratton. Continue along the A2030 and eventually you will see the ground in front of you.

From the east (Sussex):
Continue along the A27 westbound. At the junction with the A2030 turn left towards Southsea/Fratton. Continue along the A2030 and eventually you will see the ground in front of you.

There is limited parking around Fratton Park.

By Rail:
Once at Fratton Station, exit via the footbridge and turn left onto Goldsmith Avenue. Continue along for approximately half a mile and Frogmore Road is on your left. Fratton Park is situated at the bottom.

Train back to London from Fratton Station leaves at 22.03 or 22,28, change at Eastleigh

THE LAST TIME
This will be the 26th time the two sides have met in league and cup matches. City have won on  twelve occasions and drawn five times. City have scored 36 times to Portsmouth's 32.

City beat Portsmouth 2-0 on the opening day of the season. City's last visit to Fratton Park for a league game was on October 19th 2003, the game finished in a 1-1 draw with a 60th goal from Callum Davenport cancelling out Vincent Pericard's 51st minute goal.

MATCH OFFICIALS
The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's Championship game at Portsmouth is Dean  Whitestone from Northamptonshire.

Dean started refereeing in Northampton in 1992 and it was his father who got was a class one referee who got him interested. He progressed through the United Counties League, The Southern League, The Conference and onto the Football League as a referee in 2005/2006.

He has had 31 games this season including City's 1-0 win over Middlesbrough and has shown 82 yellow cards and eight red. This will be his 12th Championship game of the season.

Previous City games he has been in charge of are: the 1-1 draw against Blackpool on January 30th 2010, the 2-1 win at Northampton Town in a Jackson Grundy Cup game in July 2009, the 2-1 win at Charlton on December 9th 2008, the 1-0 home win over QPR on September 20th 2008, the 1-1 home draw with Southend on December 30th 2006.

The assistants are Chris Powell from Dorset and Steve Rubery from Essex and the Fourth Official is Tony Mason from Kent .
