Coventry City U21's coach Darren Murray has said that his player cannot afford to feel sorry for themselves after losing 1-0 at home to Birmingham City, six days after the Sky Blues lost away to Birmingham.

Speaking to Keiran Crowley, Murray said: "Like everybody else, we want to win games of football and we're on a bad run but we can't afford to feel sorry for ourselves. It was disappointing to come out of the game without scoring.

"I'd have liked to see a bit more from some players today. You need to go home knowing that you can look in the mirror and say you've given your all."They've got to do it themselves and it is a testing time for the character. It is a make or break situation and they've got to respond."
