Ivor Lawton has admitted his delight at beating Aston Villa.
Lawton told Keiran Crowley after Coventry City U21's 1-0 win over Villa in a behind closed doors game at Ryton: "I'm delighted with the team performance and as a Coventry City supporter, nothing beats beating the Villa, even if it is a friendly match.
"I'm loving my time at the club at the moment. I'm playing out of position in defence but I'll play whether I'm put and just do my best there to prove to the management staff I've got what it takes."
