Jones' Brace Helps City U21's Get A Rare Away Win

Coventry City U21's won 4-0 at Bristol City tonight.

Lee Glover was able to field Jodi Jones and a far stronger team than for some matches for this game at Ashton Gate and it was the midfielder, who on trial, who fired City ahead in the ninth minute after collecting a pass from Jack Finch.

In the 54th minute, the Sky Blues had a second goal when Jones turned provider and set up George Thomas who tapped home and four minutes later, it was three when Jodi Jones scored again with a lovely strike.

Jones was replaced in the 59th minute by Bas Sambou, Ruben Lameiras was replaced by a trialist and Devon Kelly Evans came off for Kyle Spence before Bas Sambou rounded off a great evening for the Sky Blues with a fourth goal in the 87th minute.
