Coventry City U18's coach Jason Farndon was pleased with his side's performance in their 5-0 win over Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.

"I'm really pleased with the performance and particularly pleased at the defensive performance because if we're going to win the league this season, it will be the goals against us which will settle it," Farndon said to Keiran Crowley.

"We learned a lot from the Tuesday game where we had plenty of them involved at Halesowen Town and we've brought it into today's game. The passing and intensity was the best I've seen it this season.

"We've got to be relentless in our style of play and believe the type of football we want to play is the right way and we did that today."
