Coventry City U18's coach Jason Farndon has admitted his delight at being in the FA Youth Cup Third Round after his side beat Crewe 2-0 last night at Nuneaton.
Farndon told Keiran Crowley: "It was a difficult game on a difficult pitch but with it being a cup game, we're just delighted to get through to the next round.
"We would have liked to have won it a bit more convincingly as we missed quite a few chances in the second-half but it shows we've got more to give.
"It's been difficult for the group because we've been quite split up recently due to injuries in the Under-21s but it shows there is a real togetherness in the group."
